Subject: Icom-230
I recently purchased a PL-Tone Board from Communications Specilists for
my Icom-230 to discover I have lost the schematics for my Icom-230! Does
anyone know where the PL-Tone Unit gets wired into on the Icom-230? If
you can help email root@pimpf.ais.net
Thanks.

The W21AT is an excellent unit for 2m/70cm work. It comes with
all the bells and whistles you're likely to ever want. It does not
have terrific wideband receive on the UHF side, but it performs well
from 430-455 or so. I particularly like the battery life on that
model.
I would only consider the W21AT which is much easier to work
with than the w21A. Keypad entry is highly desirable.
Don't overlook the Kenwood Th79A which has a lot of nice
features too. 73 Dave AA5NU

| Even more impressive, the HTX-202 heard signals through the
| intermod, when the IC-2400 could not pull 'em out! Reason is
| probably because we purposely limited coverage to ham band ONLY!
^^
Must you post this bloody advert every time the subject comes up?
